Star is only a 3-year-old pup, yet she has had the unfortunate fate of contracting a rare flesh-eating disease known as “Necrotizing Fasciitis,” a serious bacterial infection that destroys tissue under the skin.

She is in desperate need of a surgical procedure in order to save her life, as the bacterial decay has spread all throughout her back, threatening to consume her entire body if not treated soon.
