My name is Stacy Thibodeaux. I have created this fundraiser because I really need the help of the community to ensure my mother doesn't end up homeless.

Here is the situation. My mother has dementia and has rapidly declined over the past year. She is unable to take care of her finances, nor has the capacity to any longer. My stepbrother, who charges are being pressed against, took advantage of this and stole her SSI income for the past two months. She is now facing eviction. Her apartment complex has worked with us as much as possible, but if she doesn't pay the past due amount of $1,997, she will be evicted on 8-13-25. Her electric bill is $755, she has minimal food, and I have given as much as I can financially.

Anything and everything helps. If you have ever had a parent with this disease, you know the toll it can take on you mentally, emotionally, financially and physically. Even if you can't contribute financially, please share, but even $1 helps. I cannot have my mother be homeless, and she can't relocate due to her current medical situation. Her familiarity with her location is what keeps her safe as she gets out at times and wanders (I get calls all the time), between that and hospitalizations.
