The planning permission approved by default by the Malew planning committee for the removal of the Elm trees at St Mark’s needs to be revoked. It is our intention to ensure that a petition of doleance is filed which will in effect prevent the destruction of St Mark’s Elm Trees. Please kindly contribute to this matter to cover any legal costs incurred by the petition of doleance. Any funds raised over and above the costs will be donated to the Manx Wildlife or Woodland Trust.
