Save Spy Boy: Urgent Medical Funds Needed

The handsome guy in the photo is Spy Boy, also known as Commodore SpyBoy Captain of the SS TinyMan. He is my best friend, my son, my soulmate. He is as handsome as a supermodel, and the most loving little man you could ever hope to meet.

He's also very, very sick.

For the past week, something was off. He seemed depressed. He wasn't playing. He was drinking huge amounts of water. Yesterday, we took him to the vet. After $1500 of tests, they discovered he has diabetes. They think he has pancreatitis, but we don't have the results on that yet.

The vet had us rush SpyBoy to an emergency hospital. He'll be there for at least the next few days.

The hospital gave us an estimate of between $4000 and $8000. We didn't hesitate, because SpyBoy is our family. We had just enough room left on our credit card to cover it.

I'm a wreck, to be honest. I'm disabled and can't work, so SpyGuy and I are together 24/7. This is the first time I've been without him in 6 years, and he's never been away from home before. The house feels so empty without him. I'm kind of lost...everywhere I turn, I expect to see my little dude, and he's gone.

Last week, my husband Jonathan got laid off.

So...now we have an enormous credit card debt we can't pay, no money coming in, and a very uncertain future.
