Save Spring Lane Cinemas!

Spring Lane Cinemas needs your help! Tropical Storm Debby caused a major leak in our roof, which didn't seem too bad at first, but as the bad weather continued throughout the month, that hole in the roof got bigger and bigger, which caused significantly more damage as the leak progressed, reaching our electrical boxes. The City of Sanford was notified and we had no choice but to close our doors.

Our landlord isn't budging, and never will. That's why we, the staff, are taking matters into our own hands to save the place we love. In order for us to reopen, we have to remove all water from the building and replace the roof. This project will be around $20,000, but we need $5500 to get things in motion!

As the general manager, it was a dream of mine to run this building, but by the time I was handed the keys, the place had been run by poor management and left to rot by a terrible chain that went bankrupt. We've been picking up the pieces since then, but it's finally catching up with us. We have families to feed and bills to pay. I don't know what I would do without this place, so I'm desperate. Reaching out to the community to help.
