Help Save Sopita Maruchan, Our Baby Kitty!
Dear Friends, Family, and All Animal Lovers,
Two months ago, we rescued Sopita from the side of the road. Despite her tiny size, she’s a fighter, but she needs your help.
The vet found a diaphragmatic hernia, a hole in her diaphragm that has forced her stomach, liver, and intestines into her chest cavity. This makes every breath a struggle as her tiny body is working overtime just to function.
And a dislocated shoulder, likely from being hit by a car.
At first, vets said her chances were slim, but Sopita refused to give up. With care, she’s grown stronger and now she’s finally big enough for life-saving, corrective surgery.
The corrective surgery will repair her diaphragm, move her organs back where they belong, and fix her shoulder. But it’s a major operation, and the cost, $6,000, is beyond what we can manage alone.
We’re so close to giving Sopita the happy, healthy life she deserves. If you can help, even just a little, every dollar brings her closer to healing. And if you can’t donate, please share.
Please donate or share, you’re her miracle!
