Help Save Sock – Our Puppy Needs Emergency Surgery

Hi everyone,

We’re Haley and Dalton, and we’re reaching out with heavy hearts. Our 9-month-old puppy, Sock, has something stuck in his stomach and urgently needs surgery to survive.

Sock is more than just a dog—he’s part of our family. He’s grown up alongside our four kids and his big brother, Shoe, who has been by his side since day one. The two of them are inseparable—playing, cuddling, and learning the world together. Seeing Sock in pain and struggling has affected all of us, especially Shoe, who keeps trying to comfort his little brother the only way he knows how—by being an absolute menace and constantly trying to get him to play! Sock hasn’t felt himself, and that’s how we knew something was wrong when he stopped playing tug with Shoe recently!

The vet told us that emergency surgery is the safest option, and the estimated cost is $2,500. We’re doing everything we can to come up with the money, but we can’t do it alone. Dalton and I are both nurses, we are both also in school. We are already struggling a bit getting out of debt and inflation has our grocery bills through the roof.

Sock is silly, sweet, and always full of love. His favorite things are following his big brother around the house, sneaking extra cuddles from the kids, and zooming through the backyard. Watching him lose his spark has been heartbreaking for our whole family.
