This go fund me is for BRYGID AUGUSTYN
It may show up in Nick Sarchs name.
Sad Update: I went to go see another vet who was recommended to me, this vet graduated from purdue vet.
To keep it to the point, she seen everything was very bad and severe. I knew deep down in my body that I was going to lose my dog.. Purdue was a hope in finding clarify in what's about to come.. however with learning about the risks and whay could happen. I am no longer going for Purdue.
It will NOT change her diagnosis or by her time. I have been doing everything right and have been able to, thanks to all of you I was given instruction to do end of life care for Snickers. This is it... I cannot save her, I cannot do anything besides be able to give her the best path to her rainbow bridge
I may have 6 months if I am lucky.. with all that being said, I will open an Amazon account for things she may need for the time to come, or if anyone wants to get her special treats, outfits or toys.
( she loves rocks and lamas)
I will update and keep the go fund me up for medication and the at home hospice I plan to use for her to go comfortably with her family and fellow animal siblings.
Ina world full of ignorance and cruelty you showed me kindness in my darkest hour and for that truly thank you

My beloved dog Snickers is very sick and it's not guaranteed what her life expectancy is with her current new lung condition. My only hope in finding out what's wrong with her is to do a lung scope and CT of her lungs, and I was advised to take her to Purdue Vet School in Indianapolis/West Lafayette. Without going to Purdue, she will die!
Many of you know she has been with me anywhere and everywhere since I was eighteen years old. Most of you have never seen me without her. People who truly know me will say she is my everything. We are meant to be together. I've exhausted all my resources, and thanks to my boyfriend's amazing family as well as my own, we were able to get her to see a new vet, and they took action immediately! However, now we are halted. I only have two options: take her to Purdue and figure out if it's cancer or possibly something curable, or leave it to chance and never knowing if I could have done something.
I don't think I can live with myself if I didn't try. Please, anything helps. Everything will go towards her, and I will update and post pictures of her medical treatment
Purdue has told me for her scope, CT scan, and 3-day vet stay, 4/5k will cover all of it.
I just want to be able to give her the last couple of years she deserves, regardless of what the outcome is! Please share and donate if you can anything helps
Further detail from where this began below:
She started coughing and having issues about last year, and I went to her vet multiple times about my concerns. They ignored me, said she was fat, and to have her lose weight. She has had "slip knee" since she was 5 years old, which has limited her mobility to a degree, and we have worked around it for many years. As she has gotten older, it's gotten worse, as things do, so that's why she's gained weight.
I suspected things were going on, and I was unfortunately correct. I then took her to Hobart Animal Clinic, and they started understanding my concerns immediately and agreed with the tests I wanted them to perform.
She has a slightly collapsed trachea (not very significant due to age).
Kidney disease (I caught it early, and I have purchased her food, dry and wet. A 27lb bag is $133, and each k/d wet can is about $5). She has responded very well to the kidney food and is improving significantly since! However, there were weird patterns on her lungs . We did rounds of different medications, from antibiotics to steroids, and her lungs have not improved. They believed due to the pattern of what was going on in her lungs that it could be a fungal infectious disease, and we ruled that out as well! Unfortunately, that leaves us with various cancers, OR there is a chance it's a pulmonary issue (I'm not sure the name), but it is treatable!
Anything helps. She is the best thing in my life, and I refuse to just go without knowing what she's going through. Please help me get my baby to Purdue!
These vet receipts are just from the past 2 weeks.. this isn't even including the random times ive needed to go in, or re check.
