Hi, everyone! We don't usually ask for help, and it took a lot for us to finally do so...but we're being pushed to a difficult point. Due to an investor pulling out last minute, our start-up small business racked up personal debt on credit cards of nearly $20K, resulting in a denial for a business loan to offset the gap in working capital and start-up costs. We were denied our business loan ($28K) that would have carried us through the first 3-6 months of operations while we spread the word about our unique and brand new learning model.

At this point, we've exhausted the virtually nonexistent start-up small business resources from the state and federal levels. We are a family-owned business that is just trying to bring more accessible and impactful learning experiences to kiddos, or what we call them, "Oddballs." We have until November 1, 2025 to pay our bills or we must close our shop for good.

We've been blessed to be selected by the only local law clinic for assistance in filing for nonprofit status, but this process typically takes 3-6 months at best, plus time to raise funds from donors. We don't want to stop a good thing short and we are asking for any financial help or support as we try to get this dream launched into reality.
