Hello! My name is Mady. I have a 10 year old dachshund named Slinky. Unfortunately, Slinky was adopted at an older age to me a couple of years ago, and his teeth were in very poor condition. They have only worsened. He has a heart murmur, and poor dental health can worsen his heart condition significantly. His vet said he needs all of his teeth pulled. The procedure comes out to $2015 after tax, and cannot be made in payments. We would consider going somewhere else, but the price will most likely be the same, and Slinky has a wonderful relationship with his vet despite his shy personality. This procedure is life saving for him as dental health corelates directly with heart heath. Slinky is 10, but outside of his heart murmur in teeth he is in great health. He still has a lot of time left! Due to some other financial hardships we are going through, my wife took a second job overnight and is working 60 hours a week to try to build a savings and help pay for the procedure, but time is of the essence. If you can help, please consider even a small donation. Literally anything will help put Slinky out of pain and ease the stress on his heart. Thank you for reading <3
