Looking for a handUP until I can return to work

Donation protected
UPDATE: Unfortunately I was unable to keep my apartment but I have been blessed with the opportunity to stay with family in DeLand.

However, DeLand is over an hour from my doctors, my newborn’s pediatrician, and my oldest boys school, games, extra curricular, ect.

I am still unable to work due to my recent C-section but should be able to return in the next 6-8 weeks. Reaching my goal would cover my necessary bills that are currently behind and piling, (car payment, insurance, cell phone) and it would give me the chance to help contribute to the home that’s been so graciously opened to me and my children.

Thank you for your kindness and support through these difficult times.

ORIGINAL NEED: Hello, my name is Krystle, mother of two boys (11 and 15) and I am humbly asking for help to avoid eviction, thus homelessness while pregnant with my 3rd child. Unfortunate circumstances have led me to my current situation.

Earlier this year I found out I was pregnant with twins. In May, when I went in for my 16 week scan I found out that I had lost one of the twins I was carrying. I was diagnosed with hyperemesis gravidarum, as well as proteinuria and quickly became a high risk pregnancy. Just last month I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes. I am a registered nurse and due to the demands of my job I have been unable to work.

Unfortunately I don’t have any family to turn to for financial help or shelter at this time. In June my mother became very ill and ended up passing away July 19th, just 11 days after my father’s passing on July 8th.

I have reached out to several agencies to see if they could assist in helping us save our apartment but many don’t have funding and others can’t help since I won’t be able to return to work until December.

I am due for C-section delivery October 16th and don’t have any of the necessities I need for my new baby on top of facing homelessness. It is not easy for me to reach out and ask for help in this way but I am desperate and am trying to put a little more faith in humanity instead of suffering in silence.

I need to come up with $4000 by next week (September 13th) in order to avoid eviction. The rest of the funds will be applied to future months rent, as well as necessities for my new baby.

I appreciate anything you can give. If you are unable to donate, please share and say a little prayer for our family. These last few months have been devastating.
