Get to know Shyla! READ BELOW to help her fight against ovarian cancer…
Shyla. A best friend, sister, and dog mom. She is currently a registered behavioral tech, but also a certified massage therapist, who once placed first in the Alakai powerlifting competition 2018, (yep..she’s strong). She once played drums in a band at Disneyland (don’t sleep on the drummers!), and has her green/yellow belt in Capoeira.
One day she wants to travel to Japan and try lots of food, continue to teach, and one day she wants to be a mommy and have a biiiig family like the one she grew up in.
But nobody expects the unexpected… a few months ago Shyla was diagnosed with an extremely rare ovarian cancer called Sertoli Leydig and soon has to begin an intense 9 week chemo-therapy that could potentially damage her reproductive system, and prevent her from becoming a mother.
This fundraiser is to help Shyla with medical expenses, and primarily with the expenses to save her eggs, and have cute little babies in the future.
