Hello everyone, this is my dog Shiva and recently she’s been having serious medical complications. This all started on April 17th. She vomited, but not much. It soon progressed to her not being able to keep anything down and she refused to even defecate. At the hospital, the vets did X-ray's that showed the possibility for an obstruction to be the cause. She stayed the night, the next day the vets showed me X-ray's that made it seem like whatever was there is mostly gone and the rest is on its way out. Going home with anti-nausea medication and the recommendation to keep her on soft foods for a day I expected her to make a speedy recovery, but she didn't and things got worse. She seemed fine at first but then she went back to how she was. Only this time, she could barely walk. I took her to a different hospital and they believe it could be a neurological disease named Myasthenia Gravis. Testing and treatment could easliy run upwards of $6000. For that reason I would like to raise $10,000 for her testing, treatment, and prepare for a long recovery. Some of the pictures below show what Ive been able to do for her so far but she desperately needs more help and I'm running out of funds to continue care. I know there are a lot of things going on in the world and people are fighting their own battles, but any contribution to help pay for Shiva’s care would be appreciated immensely.
