Hello. I am located in Essex, MA, but frequently visit wider areas like New Hampshire, the Boston areas, and also Florida. My name is Mia MacLeod, and I have lived with animals my whole life, especially dogs. Dogs have become important to me throughout my life, and more experiences have become known to me. I have adopted all my dogs from shelters, and they are all rescues. This has led me to see deeper into shelters than people who buy from breeders or buy just to have a dog, not to save. The issue of killing dogs just because shelters don't have enough resources hurts me. Innocent dogs, like my own, or your dog, could have been sent to a new shelter if we did not pick them. They could have been killed if we did not play a part. Healthy dogs are euthanized just because a younger dog got sent there and they can no longer provide support for this old dog, or even a young dog. This is why it is important to me, knowing I saved lives, and so can you. (P.S money given is not going to me, I am donating it to my local shelters and local charity programs).
