Save Shay’s Family Home & Her Future

If you know Shay, you know how fiercely she shows up for her community with creativity, care, and courage.

Right now, she needs us.

After the heartbreaking loss of her father, Shay inherited the house she grew up in, her only connection to stability, family, and history. Unfortunately, she also inherited a mortgage, legal entanglements, and a system that doesn’t make it easy for young people to navigate loss.

Her home is in foreclosure.

She needs funds immediately to prevent the loss of her house. She also faces costly legal steps, including probate, legal representation, and property-related fees. She’s being threatened with eviction before she’s even had a chance to grieve.

• Property-related expenses and taxes

• Emergency survival costs while she fights to stay housed
