Help Support the Families of Our Employees & Our Fight Forward
I’ve never done anything like this before. But I’ve also never faced a situation like this in my life.
After 25 years of building our businesses, supporting our community, and creating jobs, we are now facing circumstances that could leave many of my employees without work.
The first and most important purpose of this GoFundMe is to help the families of my employees.
My employees have people depending on them — children, spouses, partners, and loved ones. My concern is making sure their families have food on the table and help with basic necessities while they navigate the uncertainty ahead.
I sincerely hope my employees who qualify are able to receive unemployment benefits. That process is for them. What I want to do is something separate: help their families through this transition and make sure the people who depend on them aren’t left struggling because their source of income has suddenly been taken away.
I care very deeply about these families, and after everything these employees have done for our businesses over the years, I want to do whatever I can to help the people who depend on them.
The second purpose of this GoFundMe is to help with the mounting legal expenses I am facing.
Legal fees have already become significant and continue to grow as I move forward trying to protect our rights and salvage whatever I possibly can from this unfortunate situation.
Asking for help is something I have never been comfortable doing. I have spent much of my life trying to help others. But this is a situation unlike anything I have ever experienced, and right now I am asking our community for help.
Any contribution will be deeply appreciated. If you cannot contribute, simply sharing this GoFundMe can make a difference.
My priority is helping these families through this difficult time while continuing to fight for everything we have spent 25 years building.
