EDIT: I am about $6,000 in the hole on the repair costs + rental. Just got the quote back. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH. IN ONE DAY WE RAISED $5K. 

I just drove from Colorado to North Carolina on tour and my van broke down! I had to get a rental car for the week, so we can continue to play and get back home to Maryland. I’m hoping to recoup some of these costs and if we can do that I might raise the goal to help fund the rest of tour or do some extra fixes on the van.

I have to go back to NC from Maryland next week to get my van and continue touring, and also for my own personal use (driving to work etc). I’m at least 4K down the hole for repairs and rental; all money I’ll have to credit and I don’t think my limit is high enough.

Im not freaking out, but it is pretty serious in terms of my financial livelihood, the livelihood of the band, and continuing this tour - which took me a year to book and countless hours of labor to work towards. We have only played about 12 of the 50ish scheduled from Feb-May

Even though this sucks for me I have no doubt it will all work out. It could be so much worse. I may have to make more sacrifices, but I chose this life. Also, the world is extremely chaotic right now, many people don’t have money; I feel like an imposter even asking for money.

So if you decide not to support or share this fundraiser, I support you in that. There are many things you could support instead if you’re able

If you do decide to support or share this, just know you are supporting me, my individual bandmates, and you’re supporting a small piece of live music. Live music is very important in a chaotic world.
