Save Scout! Help me pay for my cat's surgery

Hi, my name is Jacob and I'm looking to raise money for a very close friend of mine.

His name is Scout, he's my cat, and he's been my friend ever since he was born under my bed 13 years ago.

He's a big lovable guy with an absolute heart of gold. When he waits to be fed he doesn't scurry around and meow at you but instead sits politely and patiently at his dish.

He always wants to sleep at the foot of the bed during the nighttime, and when you're having a bad day he'll sit on your chest and start purring.

He's been with me through big moves, through my high school graduation, and through so many of the good times and bad throughout my life.

I love this cat like a member of my own family, I've created so many memories with this cat, and I'd like to keep making more for years to come.

But now Scout needs your help.

I took him to the vet recently because he hadn't been eating or going to the bathroom as frequently as he normally does (believe me, this guy usually eats and craps like a truck driver!) and after doing an x-ray and an ultrasound they found a tumor in his intestines. They said the surgery would cost anywhere from $2000 to $3000 and I simply do not have that kind of money.

I love my buddy Scout so much and I want to do anything to save his life. That's why I want to ask for your help. Your donations will be used to pay for Scout's surgery to remove the tumor and for his post-surgery aftercare.
