Dear friends, this is a cry for help.
Most of you have met our little black companion-dog Scooba. Two days ago Scooba was struck by a car and is now in critical condition at the hospital. She broke her pelvis in 4 places, her femur, and her tibia. She is dying.
Scooba is a little 3 year-old homeless rescue dog from China, who came to us 2 years ago from an animal welfare organization called Loved At Last... and she IS loved! - We came to love her so, so much, that the thought of losing her so soon is unbearable. We want her to stay and keep experiencing the life of a loved and treasured companion, because she had already endured a lot of hardships in her life as a street dog in China. She's had one puppy and kept it safe, and now we want to keep her safe forever.
Scooba is an affectionate, loving, joyous little dog who loves to jump off things! She also loves to snuggle, give us soft love-bites, attack our feet, get 'the zoomies' and do wild doughnuts in the grass. Even if she ends up in a wheel chair (Scooba-scooter), she can still do doughnuts, but first she needs to get through her operations.
Any money received would help with her hospital fees and treatments. We will keep up to date with what's happening and appreciate your help to save our poor sweet little Scooba.

She is currently in intensive care at the animal hospital and requires several blood transfusions, a cat scan, and surgery to fix her broken bones. The cost of all this is estimated to be close to $20,000. We've already paid $8,000 so far, but we still need $15,000 more in the next 10 days to proceed with life-saving surgery. We are trying to do everything we can to help Scooba survive this ordeal, even at great personal cost, because we believe every dog deserves it.
