My name is Faith, and I’m fundraising on behalf of my friend Sandra, who is facing a serious medical crisis.

Over the past year, Sandra's health deteriorated rapidly. She developed severe abdominal swelling caused by a large build-up of fluid (ascites), alongside increasing pain, fatigue, and an inability to work.

Initially, Sandra was diagnosed with liver cirrhosis and ovarian cysts. However, thanks to donations from supporters, she was able to access further investigations and specialist care. Recent CT scans and medical assessments have revealed that the ovarian mass is now believed to be the primary cause of her symptoms and is suspected to be cancerous.

Sandra is currently awaiting surgery to remove the mass, after which doctors will have a clearer understanding of the treatment she will need moving forward.

Your donations have already made a huge difference. They have helped Sandra access private medical care, specialist consultations, diagnostic testing, hospital treatment, and procedures that would otherwise have been beyond her reach.

Sandra has spent her life caring for others and supporting her family. She is the primary provider for her loved ones, yet her illness has left her unable to work and struggling to meet even basic living and medical expenses.
