Save Samson: Surgery for a Full Recovery

I’m raising funds on behalf of a beloved friend of mine, Andrea, for her best friend Samson.

Samson is an irreplaceable family member; he was found as a puppy and has accompanied Andrea throughout her life, car rides, hiking, dog parks, you name it. He was being trained as a therapy dog before Andrea’s son Lincoln came along and she had to redirect her attention. Lincoln is special needs, and Samson’s kind demeanor and therapy training has made them inseparable.

Samson was just diagnosed with a mass in his spleen. Removal of his spleen lets us know if the spleen is causing an autoimmune disease causing complications or if it is cancerous. He has every chance to make a full recovery if his spleen is removed, but it’s a costly procedure.

Our fundraising goals are $5000, it covers X-rays ($400-$600), the surgery for removal ($2000), overnight hospitalization ($1000), and transfusions (roughly $1500).
