Update on Sammy aka toasted marshmallow Firstly, I can't thank everyone enough for the support and help. With the help I received from friends, Weirdo Cat Lovers of Cleveland, Ohio Paws for Purpose, I was able to admit her at the hospital today for treatment. She'll be getting an appetite stimulant, fluids, and some more meds to get her back on track. She have her blood work done again to check her anemia and figure out further treatment for that. The Dr may also be able to pluck the bad tooth out while she's there. Thank you all again from the bottom of my heart.

Hi everyone. I typically wouldn't ask this but I'm in quite the position right now. My cat Sammy (who is my soul kitty) is having some health issues. She's FIV positive and I had to take her to the hospital Monday due to her lack of eating and losing weight. We discovered a loose and infected tooth which we started treating. They did blood work and found that her liver isn't doing well and she's anemic. She needs to be hospitalized for tube feeding and an ultrasound. My hours at work haven't been good and I'm sure a lot of you know vet costs are expensive. But I'm hoping some of you may be able to help. I truly hate to ask this but I don't know what to do. If you can find it possible to even donate $5, it would help tremendously. She's my little furry friend and has helped me get through so much.

Sammy came in to our lives 6 years ago from an agency called Tails from the city. No one wanted her due to her diagnosis. She won our hearts though and she's been a faithful companion ever since. I hope I can get her through this. She had such a rough start to life her first 4 years.
