Hope for my positively chronic life

Hi, my name is Sam and I have Klippel-Feil Syndrome, a rare congenital musculoskeletal condition. Sadly this condition has led to other many other conditions which have all resulted in debilitating symptoms - difficulty walking, extreme headaches, dizziness, shortness of breath and constant pain in my neck and shoulders. These ongoing symptoms mean I’m unable to work, drive, walk my daughter to school, do housework or even my grocery shopping.
After surviving 3 past surgeries, it’s now looking like I will require major spinal surgery, which will entail fusing my cervical spine. Not only will this be a very risky surgery, it will also come at a hefty price which my husband and I simply can’t afford. I’m not comfortable raising money for my surgery and treatment, but I have no other option. Thank you for all your kind contributions.
Please also have a look at my Facebook page ‘My positively chronic life’ where I aim to post regular updates on my experiences and progress, and pass on any links or information I obtain.
