Save Salt.beautybar

Many of you know my sister Jennifer and her hair salon “salt.beauty bar” in Sierra Madre. Due to Covid 19, she has been shut down since March 16th with only a few short weeks of being able to operate at minimum capacity. She is now facing another complete shut down mandated by the state of California to help stop the spread of Covid 19. With little to no financial government aid, rent/utility debt piling up, bills, and three small children to take care of, this last closure is absolutely financially devastating.

Jennifer has been working as a hair stylist for 16 years and opening her own salon was always her dream. I’ve seen her work tirelessly, sometimes 15 hour days, all with a smile doing what she loves. Seeing her reach that goal and operate her own thriving business was a major milestone, and to see that all fall apart due to something completely out of her control is heartbreaking.

On behalf of Jennifer, we are asking for your help. In order to keep Salt.beauty bar’s doors open, we are asking for $5,000 to help cover back rent and salon costs. I know Covid has hit everyone very hard and it is all overwhelming, but even the smallest contribution or sharing this post will help. Jenny is never one to really ask for help, but I’ve seen her loving heart and her almost ridiculous capacity to give. She really misses all of her friends and clients and my goal is to keep Salt.beauty bar open until it’s safe for us all to be together again.
