Save Sal's Life

Hi--my name is Camille, and this past Sunday night, my cat Sal's hind legs were hit by a car.

I found him curled up under the house on Lundi Gras morning. After spending the day in and out of emergency vets, we learned that Sal has a broken pelvis and some small fractures in his left leg. He did not incur any damage to his organs or internal bleeding. While his injuries are severe, the vet believes that with orthopedic surgery, Sal can make a full recovery--regain full mobility and function.

However, I'm not currently in a financial position to shoulder an unforeseen expense of this scale: an estimated $3000-4000 for the surgery alone.

I've already gone out of pocket for his emergency vet bills to the fullest extent of my means. I'm asking you to please, donate what you can. If I'm unable to raise the funds for this surgery, Sal will not survive.

If you've ever had the pleasure of meeting Sal, then you know that he is a sweet and silly cat. He loves catnip more than any creature I've ever seen. He is gentle, purrs easily, and relishes belly rubs. He has many friends in the neighborhood, including the neighborhood kids who call him "Garfield."
