I am so incredibly grateful to have such wonderful friends who have been so kind with their donations.
As most of the people who donated know, Sage Hill had been my home & business for the last 13 years. I put everything I had into planting the vineyard & creating a peaceful environment for guests to enjoy.
Other people lived at the ranch - some for as long as me - & they lost everything. We will not be able to rebuild so I want to do everything I can to help them back on their feet & will be sharing my donations with them.
The spaces I created for vacation & permanent rentals paid the mortgage on the property & other running costs & as they are gone, the ranch is no longer sustainable.
The donations I have received will also go towards rent & living expenses for myself until I can find a job & a permanent living situation.
And I will also be sharing the donations with other friends who suffered great losses in the fire & will do so as soon as I receive the funds.
