সাফওয়ানের বয়স মাত্র ৬ মাস। সে বাংলাদেশের নারসিংদী জেলায় তার পরিবারের সঙ্গে থাকে। এত ছোট বয়সে তাকে একটি বিরল ও গুরুতর রোগের মুখোমুখি হতে হয়েছে — বিলিয়ারি অ্যাট্রেসিয়া (Biliary Atresia), যেখানে লিভারের পিত্তনালী বন্ধ বা বিকৃত থাকে। এর ফলে শরীরে বিষাক্ত পদার্থ জমে যায় এবং লিভার গুরুতরভাবে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হয়।

একটি জরুরি লিভার প্রতিস্থাপন (transplant) ছাড়া তার জীবন বিপদের মুখে।

এই চিকিৎসার খরচ প্রায় ১,০০,০০০ ইউরো, যা পরিবারের পক্ষে বহন করা অসম্ভব। তারা তাদের ছেলেকে বাঁচাতে ও সুস্থ করে তুলতে সর্বোচ্চ চেষ্টা করছে।

Safwan is only 6 months old and lives with his family in Narsingdi, Bangladesh. At such a young age, he is facing a life-threatening condition called biliary atresia — a rare disease in which the bile ducts are blocked or absent, preventing the liver from removing bile and causing severe damage to the body.

Without an urgent liver transplant, Safwan’s life is at serious risk.

The medical costs for the transplant and post-surgery care are extremely high — around €100,000 — an impossible amount for his family, who are doing everything they can to give him a chance to survive and grow.

Safwan ha solo 6 mesi e vive con la sua famiglia a Narsingdi, in Bangladesh.
