- Help Safe Cats Continue Their Life-Saving Mission
Safe Cats of Barbados is on a mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome the island's abused, abandoned, and neglected cats. Our dedication extends 24/7 as we address a critical public health issue and strive to provide a better life for these vulnerable animals.
Since our founding in 2023, we’ve achieved:
- Over 400 cats adopted into loving homes on the island or overseas, including the United States, Canada, the UK and Germany.
- more than 400 cats vetted, neutered, and returned to their communities
- 500 pounds of cat food donated to those in need
- currently 80 cats and kittens rescued from unsafe situations.we are focused on keeping them healthy and and finding them loving homes. All our cats are fixed, vaccinated and lap-ready with so much love to give.
- educational outreach and informational support to cat owners and the public
- TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) programs at hotels and resorts
Despite these successes, we are now at a critical juncture. Without immediate funding, we risk having to shut down our essential services.
We urgently need your support to continue this vital work. Your donation will directly help us:
Cover veterinary costs
Provide food and supplies
Expand our outreach and educational efforts
Maintain our foster and adoption programs
Please consider making a donation today to help us keep Safe Cats running. Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a significant difference. To donate, please donate here or visit:
