Hello, my name is Nicole Riscanevo Gallego, and I’m the owner of my dog Sachi,

Sachi has been part of my life for almost 10 years now. Sachi is more than just a pet, she's my emotional support, my best friend, and my happiness. Sachi is a very adventurous chihuahua. She likes chasing geese at the park, enjoys rides, and is very playful. She has brought so much love into my life, and she has brought a cure to my health, she has brought a positive impact on my entire family. On October 2, 2025, I had to rush her to the emergency room at Angel Animal Medical Center in Boston. Unfortunately, the news I received was devastating and not something I wanted to hear. The veterinarians discovered that Sachi has a tumor growing inside her body, as this tumor is affecting her from eating and walking. If it is not treated soon, the tumor may spread to her lungs and become cancerous. Sachi has been also dealing with other factors of a medical problem, which is epilepsy, for the past 6 years now. I worry if, within her dealing with a new medical problem, combined with her previous condition can bring risk on her life and her future.

Hearing this was heartbreaking for me and my family. The only way to save Sachi's life is to begin treatment immediately. However, at this moment me and my family and I cannot afford the cost of her care. We are doing everything we can, but the medical expenses are beyond our final reach.

Sachi’s Life is in serious risk, and this treatment is her only chance. I am asking for support during this difficult time. Any amount - big or small- will help and will mean the world to me and my family.

Hola, mi nombre es Nicole Riscanevo Gallego y soy la dueña de Sachi. 

 Sachi ha sido parte de mi vida durante casi 10 años. Sachi es más que una mascota, es mi apoyo emocional, mi mejor amiga y mi alegría. Sachi es una chihuahua muy aventurera. Le gusta perseguir gansos en el parque, disfruta de los paseos en coche y es muy juguetona. Ha traído mucho amor a mi vida y ha tenido un impacto positivo en mi salud y en toda mi familia. El 2 de octubre de 2025, tuve que llevarla de urgencia a la sala de emergencias del Centro Médico Veterinario Angel en Boston. Desafortunadamente, las noticias que recibí fueron devastadoras y no eran lo que esperaba escuchar. Los veterinarios descubrieron que Sachi tiene un tumor creciendo dentro de su cuerpo, el cual le impide comer y caminar. Si no se trata pronto, el tumor podría extenderse a sus pulmones y volverse canceroso. Sachi también ha estado lidiando con otro problema de salud, la epilepsia, durante los últimos 6 años. Me preocupa que, al tener que enfrentar un nuevo problema médico, combinado con su condición anterior, esto ponga en riesgo su vida y su futuro. Escuchar esto fue desgarrador para mí y mi familia.

 La única manera de salvar la vida de Sachi es comenzar el tratamiento de inmediato. Sin embargo, en este momento mi familia y yo no podemos cubrir el costo de su atención. Estamos haciendo todo lo posible, pero los gastos médicos están fuera de nuestro alcance. La vida de Sachi corre grave peligro y este tratamiento es su única oportunidad. 

Les pido su apoyo durante este difícil momento. Cualquier cantidad, grande o pequeña, ayudará y significará muchísimo para mí y mi familia. Gracias de todo corazón por tomarse el tiempo de leer la historia de Sachi y por cualquier ayuda que puedan brindarnos.
