Hello,

This is Gaza, where stories are written with pain and resilience. My name is Saber Fathi Suleiman Nasser, a young man in my twenties and a former nursing student. I dreamed of becoming an exceptional nurse, helping patients and easing people's suffering. However, as you know, war leaves little room for dreams to grow.

My Life Before the War:

I was one of the top students at my university, eagerly looking forward to finishing my studies and embarking on a humanitarian journey to serve my community.

In the early days of the war, I used my basic nursing knowledge to assist the wounded around me. I dressed their wounds and provided care with the limited resources I had. It gave me hope that I was making a small difference.

Current Challenges:

As the war intensified, my family and I were forced to flee our home due to relentless bombing. We now live in a tent in the Mawasi area of Khan Younis, facing a harsh and uncertain reality.

My mother is elderly and ill, requiring medication we cannot afford.

One of my sisters lost her husband in the war and is raising orphaned children who need care.

Another sister’s husband is a prisoner of the occupation, leaving her to cope with severe hardships.

My brother was martyred during the war, leaving behind eight children without a provider.

My Unwavering Dream:

Despite everything, I firmly believe education is my only path to rebuilding my future. My dream of becoming a nurse remains alive, and I aspire to continue my studies abroad to earn a degree that will enable me to work and support my family.

How Donations Will Be Used:

Part of the funds will be allocated to supporting my family, especially securing medication for my mother and meeting the needs of my late brother's and sister's children.

The remainder will help me pursue my education and achieve my dream of becoming a nurse, which will benefit my family and others in the future.
