Help Save Ruweyda – Urgent Medical Emergency

Hello everyone,

I'm reaching out with a heavy heart. My 5-year-old daughter, Ruweyda, is fighting for her life right now in the ICU in Cairo, Egypt. What was supposed to be a peaceful stay abroad for my wife and children has turned into a nightmare.

Ruweyda has been diagnosed with a rare and life-threatening condition called Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome (HUS). This disease is attacking her brain, kidneys, and blood. She is currently sedated, on a ventilator, and undergoing dialysis.

We need urgent help.

The hospital fees are $1,000 per day. She’s being treated at a military hospital, the only place that has the life-saving medication (an injection) she needs to prevent more damage to her organs. We cannot transfer her or even consider medical evacuation until the balance is paid. So far, our hospital bill has reached $75,000, and Ruweyda is still in critical condition.

We’ve exhausted all our savings and are now drowning in debt. But we can’t give up. We are desperately trying to bring her home to Minnesota, where she can receive long term care and continue her fight with the right medical support.
