Help Save Rusty: A Beloved 3-Legged Survivor

Hi, we are Rusty’s parents, Luana and Newton. Rusty is our 11-year-old, 3-legged boy ❤️. We rescued him in 2016 from a shelter when he was scheduled to be euthanized that day due to being at the shelter for too long. The second we laid eyes on him, we knew he was ours. We ran there to adopt him, and a week later, we noticed he would limp. They missed his osteosarcoma (bone cancer), and he had his right back leg amputated to contain the cancer. We were told he didn’t have longer than 2 years to live. It’s been 9 years!!! He’s cancer-free by the grace of God.

God is so good.

We had a scary incident that started last week where he began fainting, and we rushed him to the emergency vet. We just found out today that he has CHF (congestive heart failure). I have attached his results below. Rusty is an 11-year-old boy that LOVES life. We can’t lose him. Please, anything helps towards his treatment and health.

This has been the hardest time of our lives, we cannot afford his vet bills and treatment at this time and it is a determining factor for him to get his treatment. It saddens us to not be able to afford it.

This would help with his vet bills, tests, his prescriptions that he will be on for the rest of his life, and his prescription food. Additional tests including thoracic radiographs, electrocardiogram and echocardiogram. Your donation means everything to us because that means our everything can get the help he needs.
