- I’m going to tell you about a miracle kitten given the name of Russell! Russell was thrown on a main highway near a mall. My husband ran out of the car when he saw the kitten struggling on the highway. Rudy actually jumped in the middle of that highway, raised his arms, and yelled STOP while a huge truck was going to hit the kitten! The entire audience of this rescue was in amazement when he picked up this tiny kitten and got inside the car. Rudy automatically said, 'Meet Russell!' I was in complete shock, seeing Rudy running towards the oncoming traffic on a huge highway, not knowing what was happening! I was the driver that day; Rudy was the passenger. We were leaving the mall when the rescue occurred!
