Help Save Rukshan’s Heart – Before It’s Too Late

In 2015, my family visited Sri Lanka and met a man we will never forget: Rukshan, our driver, guide, and soon – our friend.

Rukshan didn’t just drive us from place to place. He helped us navigate local markets, shared stories of his country, and kept us safe. One day, when an aggressive group of men tried to pressure us into giving them money, Rukshan immediately stepped in and made sure we were unharmed. He looked after us as if we were his own family – and never asked for anything in return.

Now, Rukshan is the one who needs help.

He’s suffering from a serious heart condition and needs urgent balloon angioplasty to prevent a life-threatening blood clot. Without the procedure, he risks not only his health but also his ability to work and provide for his family. As a father and full-time driver, Rukshan cannot afford the cost of this critical operation.

That’s why I’ve started this GoFundMe – to give back to someone who once gave so much to us.
