Hi, my name is Charley, and I’m fundraising for Royal Bridge Sanctuary, run by the incredible Eddie Garcia. Eddie is one of the most selfless, compassionate people I’ve ever met — his mission in life is to rescue and rehome animals in need. We recently adopted our dog through Eddie, and saw firsthand the love and care he gives every single animal that comes into his sanctuary.

Eddie recently moved Royal Bridge Sanctuary to a new property after being approached by two women who claimed they wanted to help him and save their land from foreclosure. They offered him space to house his rescues and promised to get the necessary kennel license. Eddie took a leap of faith and gave them all of his savings of almost $10,000 for first and last months rent and security deposit. But none of what they said and promised was true. They even turned off the water & electricity on Eddie’s family. They scammed Eddie, never followed through on their promises, and are now trying to force him and the animals off the property — putting dozens of lives at risk.

Eddie is now in a race against time to find fosters for the animals and relocate the sanctuary. These funds will go directly toward emergency boarding, transport, food, vet care, and helping secure a new, permanent safe space for the animals of Royal Bridge Sanctuary.
