My name is Todd, and I am writing this in a moment of absolute desperation for my girl, Roxy.
Roxy recently went into labor and brought two beautiful, healthy puppies into this world. She is being an incredible mother, nursing and tending to them even while she is in pain. However, we have a heartbreaking crisis.
A veterinary scan confirmed that two deceased puppies are still trapped inside her.
The Situation:
Because these puppies have passed and are still inside her, Roxy is a 'ticking time bomb' for sepsis (blood poisoning).
If we do not get them out, she will not survive to raise the two puppies she just brought into this world.
The Barrier:
It is Sunday, and our options are incredibly limited. I have reached out to every major rescue and animal charity in Newfoundland, but they are unable to provide the funding for a surgery of this scale.
I was also denied for third-party vet financing (Medicard/Petcard).
The emergency surgery—which includes a complex C-section, tissue removal, and a life-saving spay—is estimated between $4,000 and $5,000.
How You Can Help:
I am a dedicated owner, but I simply do not have $5,000 on hand. I am asking my community, my fellow dog lovers, and anyone with a kind heart to help me save Roxy.
• 100% of these funds will go directly to her medical bills at the veterinary clinic.
• If you cannot donate, please share this link. A share could be the reason the right person sees this in time.
Roxy is fighting to stay alert and nurse her babies. I am fighting to make sure she gets to see them grow up.
Please help me give her that chance.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart,
Todd, Roxy, and the pups.
