This sweet little filly wasn’t supposed to make it. Born fragile and fighting from her very first breath, she was rushed into emergency care where she has been in the ICU ever since. Despite everything stacked against her, she is still here… still fighting… and still trying. I made the decision not to give up on her. What I didn’t expect was that choice would leave me solely responsible for her care. I now have official ownership of this baby, and with that comes the overwhelming reality of her medical bills, which are still rising as she needs several more days of intensive care. But when you look at her… when you see her trying… there’s no way to walk away. She deserves a chance to stand, to run, to live the life she fought so hard for.
