Save Rosie's Diner: Restore a Piece of History

Rosie's Diner was built by the Paramount Diner Company and started business in Little Ferry, New Jersey as The Silver Dollar Diner. Later renamed Rosie's after being used as a filming location for Bounty paper towel commercials (The quicker picker upper), it operated in Little Ferry until 1991 when it was bought and moved to Rockford, Michigan. Officially closed in 2011, it sat abandoned for 15 years before we purchased it.

We couldn't sit back and watch another piece of Americana be destroyed by the wrecking ball. Our plan is to move her from Rockford, Michigan to Hammondville, Alabama where she will be meticulously restored to her former glory as a restaurant.
