Save Rosie: Tanya's Heartfelt Plea

Help Us Save Our New Family Member, Rosie.

Hello, my name is Tanya McKee, and I am reaching out to you during a time of great need for my new dog, Rosie.

For 12 years, my best friend was a Doberman named Toby. I lost him 4 years ago, and it was a pain I never thought I could recover from. I finally opened my heart to love another dog again, and just last week, I rescued Rosie. She has only been with me for a few days, but she has already filled my life with so much love and hope. We were just beginning our life together.

Rosie is a 7-year-old BoxWeiler, and she is facing an unexpected medical emergency. She has been diagnosed with Pyometra even though she’s supposed to have been spayed. The news is breaking my heart. Listening to her crying has completely shattered it.

Today, I spent $517 of the $536 I had in my bank account on her first vet visit. We were then told that she needs to be taken to an emergency hospital for probable surgery, and the costs will likely be a couple of thousand dollars. I have spent all day and all night trying to get a title loan with my car to no avail. I've been denied everywhere. I have nothing left to give, but I have to fight for her. I am already so in love with her. She’s such a good & sweet girl. I can't do this alone. The goal of this fundraiser is to cover the costs of her emergency care, medication, and potential surgery.

Any amount you can contribute, no matter how small, will make a difference. It will give Rosie the chance to live the happy life she deserves and give me more time with the dog who has already captured my heart.
