This is Rosemary! She is a bright light in her and her human’s helping community. She is deeply loved by that human family, her friends and neighbors.

I am writing to ask your help meeting Rosemary's veterinary expenses. Her family--tho rich in love and compassion and generous beyond their means sharing all they have with unsheltered neighbors in Longview-- struggle under the burden of low income that is made worse now by circumstances beyond their control.

Please help me help Erika and her son to help Rosemary survive this critical health challenge. We can’t let this precious soul that is Rosemary be lost. She fills too large a hole in a community in which desperation is a tragic result of so many things made worse by circumstances out of its control.

Rosemary is unfailingly patient and kind and has never met any other living creature—human, plant, bird or animal--she couldn’t turn into a friend. She can wrestle with the best of them, yet her compassionate heart also knows how and when to turn down the power to play with the youngest pup or most fragile, gray-snouted senior.

Rosemary loves unconditionally and asks for little in return. She lives to run, jump, play & love. But now she needs help to keep spring in her step and joy in her heart.

Rosie is a five-year-old American Bully who is fighting for her life. A sudden infection blindsided her & damageed her kidneys. She now needs a life saving surgery and continued veterinary care to have a chance to live.

She's been on multiple rounds of powerful antibiotics in preparation for surgery and only recently went from being profoundly underweight and barely nibbling to now eating with more gusto. She's now playing again, trotting again, smiling again. She clearly has the will and desire to live.

The medication has been crucial to her treat her infections, but without surgery they will come raging back and her progress, and hope, will be lost. No one who knows Rosemary and her extraordinary family could bear to lose her.

Rosemary and her family are community leaders and servants who, for the past nine years, have faithfully cared for unsheltered brothers and sisters through their meal share ministry in Longview WA called "Radical Love”.

In their community work together as humans and animals, Rosemary’s joy and humor have lifted up many who often may not have the energy or spirit to lift themselves. She is a treasure to everyone who knows her and all who know her, rely upon her joy, compassion, tenderness and light.

No donation is too small. Every donation adds up. All donations accepted with humility and gratitude. Thank you for reading Rosemary’s story. I hope you can help.
