Save Roscoe: Our School Mascot Needs You
Donation protected
Roscoe, our beloved school mascot, has been a cherished presence at BAL campus for the past seven years. He has grown alongside Mr. Scott, who has been a dedicated caretaker and friend. Many of our students have watched Roscoe flourish, and one of their favorite parts of the school day is seeing him roam the campus, spreading joy with his playful antics and puppy kisses in the playgrounds.
However, about a month ago, Mr. Scott began to notice some troubling changes in Roscoe’s behavior. After a series of tests, it has been confirmed that Roscoe is suffering from a form of cancer affecting his spleen. This news has been devastating for both Mr. Scott and our BAL family, who have formed an unbreakable bond over the years. Roscoe is scheduled for surgery on Thursday, December 5th, followed by additional biopsies to devise the best treatment plan moving forward.
Mr. Scott is committed to doing everything possible to ensure Roscoe has the best quality of life and exploring every option to save him. Known for his humility, Mr. Scott seldom asks for help, which is why I have decided to reach out on his behalf. Roscoe is far more than just a pet; he is family to all of us. Any contributions to support Roscoe’s care would be immensely appreciated, and every little bit helps during this challenging time. Thank you for your kindness and support.
