Hello Friends and fellow dog lovers!
It is with a very heavy heart that I have to deliver some sad news. The other day, Rosa-Leigh and I took a little jaunt to her very knowledgeable vet in East Haven. They went about their regular visit to start with, but the important stuff was yet to come. We made the appointment because she had a small hard mass in her groin area. They investigated and came to the conclusion that it is a good possibility that she has cancer in her lymph node and it needs to be removed.
Now the doctor explained to me that we could go ahead with oral chemotherapy and a complicated surgery. He told us that the recovery rate with all other dogs is almost 100 percent and that if we chose to go through with the surgery, she would live quite a few more years.
Now of course I want to get her in tomorrow, but the cost of the surgery could be between $2000 and $3000.
Unfortunately, we don't have that kind of money just laying around, so I am asking all of my friends that love this princess to help with the costs. Anything helps and the sooner we get her in, the better. I know that she is very loved by so many people, so even if you can't donate, please say a little prayer for us.
Thank you and we love you all! ❤️
