Hi, my name is Nataly. I have two 3 year old cats, Gato & Roo. Everyone who knows me, knows that I love my cats more than life.
On November 17th, Roo was rushed into the emergency room after I noticed he lost majority of the hair on his legs , wasn’t eating, had stopped using the bathroom and began to bleed instead. This all happened from Friday to Sunday night.
Upon arrival, I was notified that Roo had a urinary blockage and the condition he was in put him at risk. Being that Roo is very small for his age put him at an even greater risk.
Roo’s bladder was the size of an avocado which was very large for his size. He has sustained kidney damage which will essentially affect him for the rest of his life.
Before any of these complications, I was working on getting Roo certified to become my emotional support animal being that I suffer from high anxiety and other health issues. Roo is the sweetest cat I have ever met. He is not shy and is always willing to greet anyone with a rub on the leg and some chirps. He is a ball of sunshine and is ready to cheer me up anytime I am down. There are times where I find myself in a bad mood, look over at Roo who would be in a box or even sitting in an open drawer, and will immediately make me laugh. Gato also often gets ear infections which Roo does not hesitate to help clean. For a small cat, he is very empathetic and altruistic. He is always checking up on everyone else and making sure there are smiles and laughs to go around.
I am please asking for help with his vet bills, treatment, and medication he will indefinitely need to take.
Gato & I cannot afford to lose our beloved Roo Bear.
Thank you so much for any support.
