Save Romeo's Smile: Surgery Fundraiser

Hello everyone,

I’m reaching out with a heartfelt update

about my beloved cat, Romeo. His surgery to remove the most severely affected teeth from his serious case of Stomatitis was successfully completed, and he’s now on the road to recovery. He was under anesthesia for about five hours, during which the vets removed the teeth causing significant bone loss. They were able to carefully extract the roots and clean his front teeth, giving him a chance to heal and potentially save those remaining teeth. Although he is still very high risk of still needing those front teeth removed.

While I’m incredibly relieved that the surgery is behind us, we are still facing a significant financial burden. As many of you know, I’ve been out of work for the past year due to my own medical issues, and this has made it difficult to manage the costs of Romeo's care. The total cost for the surgery and aftercare was $1,661.87, and despite the procedure being completed, we are still in need of financial assistance to cover the remaining expenses and get back on our feet.
