Here is the situation: River requires treatment for a newly diagnosed mast cell tumor on her chest. This sweet girl is 6 years old and deserves a fighting chance!

River is a patient at AMC’s Surgical Oncology Service, which specializes in the surgical treatment of malignant tumors and growths. Her surgical oncologist, Dr. Jonathan Ferrari, is the only veterinary surgical oncologist in New York City and is one of only a handful of veterinary surgical oncologists worldwide. With Dr. Ferrari, River is getting comprehensive cancer care. Her Surgical Oncology team works collaboratively with the Surgery, Oncology, and Radiation Oncology Services at AMC to coordinate her cancer treatment between surgical procedures, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, and immunotherapy.

Your support will go directly toward the support of these treatments for River and cover the costs associated with her incredible care team.
