Help Rios Surgery: Urgent Care Urinary Blockage

Rio is my tuxedo 1-year-old soul kitty, and overnight he went from okay to suffering with a urinary blockage. It was absolutely terrifying for this situation, especially as small as he is. Apparently, it is common with male cats, and since he is smaller than usual (runt), he was easily prone to it.

I rushed him to the vet after quickly finding out the situation. I reached out to the live chat on Chewy.com, and they helped me identify the problem and let me know exactly what it was before it was too late.

If I waited till the next morning, he wouldn’t have made it. Fortunately, I was able to catch it in time and get him the help he needed. He’s a trooper, brave, and strong kitty. He’s my baby boy still, but my boyfriend and I are trying our best to fund the minimum $4000 vet bill due to the surgery and immediate the situation was. I would be so grateful for a dollar, anything to aid baby Rio.
