Save Rico: Emergency Surgery Fund

Our best friend Rico is struggling after ingesting something he shouldn’t have. He has an intestinal obstruction and will probably need to have surgery to remove whatever is causing this. We took him to the urgent vet where he had X-rays and was given medication to get him more comfortable, but they ultimately transferred him to the emergency vet.

We depleted our savings on this urgent care visit and the deposit to keep Rico overnight at the ER. If he needs surgery, we are beside ourselves as to how we will pay for it. This is an emotional experience to say the least, and asking for financial assistance is the last thing we wanted to do, but with how things are looking, we don’t know where else to turn.
