Save Ricky: Our Beloved Family Pet

Hello, my name is Francisco and I'm reaching out to anyone who may be willing to help. My cousin's dog, Ricky, an almost 9 year old Shih Tzu, unfortunately has had his health severely drop suddenly (Enlarged Liver, Pancreatitis, IVDD, and newly found issues with his gallbladder) and we find ourselves unable to afford further treatment. We've exhausted all our immediate options in care credit, savings, and credit cards and while we've been able to foot the cost for the 1st round of treatment, the next round would prove to be impossible without any outside help.

Ricky has been a pillar in our family, I rescued him while working at Petsmart from people who backyard bred him in rough housing conditions who came to the store seeking a new home for him. Being a Shih Tzu owner and dog lover myself, I could not ignore him when he was in need as a puppy. Ricky has been living with my cousin since then and has been a wonderful addition to our family and always so happy to play and enjoy the company of others. We were able to rescue him as a puppy and I cannot sit idle while he struggles so much and deserves a second chance of being rescued and continue living a happy, fulfilled life. We want to do everything in our power to save him.
