My name is Richard Camp (Rich Camp) and my Philippine doctor told me after my bi-monthly checkup and EKG, the bad news. I had suffered a heart attack during the night a few weeks earlier.

About me: I have spent most of my life helping others in one way or another. During this time, I spent (1985 - 1995) as a Madera County Volunteer Firefighter PCF / EMT in the Central California foothills. I also spent (1994-2008) as a Sierra National Forest Volunteer Fire Lookout / Coordinator at Miami Mountain Fire Lookout. I also worked (1999-2008) for Madera County Resource Management Agency. This all came to an end for me in 2008 when I broke my neck.

I had two major surgeries and spent two years in bed recovering. In 2010, I had a major hip replacement due to spending two years in bed. My American doctor suggested I move to the Philippines for my future medical needs, due to the fact I could not afford medical treatments in the United States and also live there. So for 15 years now, I have been paying for my own manageable medical needs out of pocket every month, with my small SSD/SSS income in the Philippines.

Two weeks ago, my doctor informed me that I had suffered a heart attack and it required immediate surgical intervention. Since then I have been hospitalized after several more attacks.

Considering, I am not the type of person to ask others for help, I find I have been put in the position to plead for financial help for the surgery that is required. My reason is I do not want to leave my wife and our young children without their father, since they are still young.
