Please Join Us to rescue & SAVE Up to 10 wild horses who are at imminent risk of being taken and exported for slaughter! These innocent beings deserve to live wild and free—and to be protected from a tragic end.
With your support, we can bring them to safety and into a powerful project of healing, rewilding, and land restoration.
Love Wild Horses Foundation is partnering with our incredible Eastern Shoshone allies, Bobbi and Austin, who have opened their beautiful ancestral lands on the Wind River Reservation to welcome these horses.
Together, we are creating a safe haven for them to live freely under protection—as part of a larger vision of hope and restoration.
These horses won’t just be saved—they will become symbols of strength and partners in healing.
Under Austin’s expert leadership, the horses will participate in therapeutic resilience programs for families and community members on the reservation.
These programs are designed to foster resilience, empowerment, and cultural renewal for Indigenous people who are enduring generations of hardship due to colonization .
At the same time, Bobbi will lead efforts in land revitalization, wildfire prevention, and water preservation—bringing her deep knowledge of agroecology and traditional Native wisdom to restore and protect their sacred Shoshone homelands.
Together they will also be creating a third program growing native food as medicine and generating food sovereignty by utilizing fertilizer from the horses.
This is more than a rescue. This is a living movement for justice, healing, and environmental stewardship. But we can't do this without you.
We urgently need to raise funds to:
- Rescue and transport Up to 10 wild horses to safety
- Provide for their care
- rewilding and integration into the therapeutic and land revitalization programs
- Protect the land that will be their forever home
- Jumpstart these exciting programs
